Gorge Hike & Bonneville Dam | We spent this Sunday hiking up to see waterfalls and beautiful scenery near the Columbia River Gorge. Here’s Amanda, Tracey, Jana, and Carol looking out to the water!
Potluck Dinner & Discussion | This week, we talked about free speech and hate speech in the context of current politics, social media, and college protests. We also ate an eclectic and amazing assortment of foods prepared and brought by each DukeEngage member.
Free Weekend | We were excited for our free weekend, and people did all kinds of things with it–whether exploring Portland a bit more, visiting the Oregon coast, or going to Seattle. I personally enjoyed visiting the Japanese gardens in Portland.
Trip to Seattle | Most of the group visited Seattle on the free weekend, enjoying museums, cruises, and especially touristy pictures. Here’s one of Carol, Sierra, Jana, and Amanda for you!
