This week, I reflected on how interning with WomenNC has shaped my daily life and personal routine. One of the goals I set for myself was learning good time management skills, and I think that I have achieved a healthy schedule that let’s me have the personal time that I need and get my work done. Sometimes, I end up working much longer than expected (like yesterday) or finishing work early so that I can make an appointment, but overall my schedule looks the same every day. I think this balance and intentional effort to manage my time well has helped me keep my stress low this summer. I don’t feel like I’m lacking free time or like I don’t have enough time to finish my work. I like that and will try to incorporate such a balance into future internship/work/school schedules.
