This year’s transition into second semester means new schedules, rush, U.S. program deadlines and– most excitingly– a new exhibition at the Nasher. Opening up on January 26th is Courtside: Photographs by Bill Bamberger. Bamberger is a professor at Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies as well as the Program Leader for DukeEngage-Rwanda, which focuses on documenting community development and contemporary issues. The exhibition features images from this program, along with photographs from various other explorations, and highlights basketball courts as a means of building community.

The exhibition will run from January 26th to May 13th, 2018. For more information, check out the Nasher’s website here: http://nasher.duke.edu/exhibitions/courtside/
