Lina Palancares, a member of the 2015 DukeEngage-Tuscon Team, gives us a peek into the dynamic ways in which she has been applying the values of DukeEngage. This summer she was able to continue her impactful work, this time with the Western NC Worker’s Center. In this piece, Lina reflects on the experience and reaffirms commitment to action. She is a senior at Duke, currently pursuing the Certificate for Civic Engagement and Social Change.
