The Duke Impact Investing Group, a club oriented around social entrepreneurship, recently secured a $100,000 to invest in impact-oriented businesses from University administration.

DIIG Executive Vice President Peter Sun participated in a DukeEngage independent project back in 2017. The goal of the project was to work on financial literacy and entrepreneurship, primarily with Aboriginal students in the Yiramalay/Wesley Studio School in Western Australia. When asked about his role in the impact group, Peter said “My role is very much focused on transforming DIIG from one house course to a 50-person impact investing fund”.
