Mikayla is a junior majoring in Public Policy with a Markets and Management Certificate. This year she did an Independent Duke Engage Project in Montreal, QC working with the Disabled Women’s Network. While there, she did research on human trafficking, specifically looking at the issue from a disability lens. She was then able to co-write a parliamentary brief on human trafficking. Mikayla is also a writer for an independent digital publication called Coven.
