DukeEngage Assessment & Impact

DukeEngage is a far-reaching program with ambitious goals to change lives and improve the world. Such lofty goals demand thoughtful assessment of short-term and long-term impacts on our students and on the community partners with whom we work.

Annual assessments include:

  • Pre-departure surveys of participants
  • End-of-program surveys of participants
  • Post-program surveys of participants (6 months after DukeEngage)
  • Pre-departure surveys of program directors, faculty fellows, and site coordinators
  • End-of-program surveys of program directors, faculty fellows and site coordinators
  • End-of-program surveys of community partners
